2024 Year in Review

Cybertruck’s first full production year
2024 was the Cybertruck’s first full year of production and delivery. Tesla delivered approximately 38,965 Cybertrucks throughout the year, starting with the Foundation Series Cyberbeast in January and ramping production to 1,300 units per week by mid-year. The Cybertruck became the best-selling vehicle over $100,000 in the US, outselling luxury competitors despite its polarizing design.
The year was marked by seven recalls: a fleet-wide warning light font size issue (January, 2.2M+ vehicles), the accelerator pedal trap (April, 3,878 vehicles), windshield wiper failure and truck bed trim detachment (June, 23,838 vehicles combined), rearview camera delays (September, 27,185 vehicles), and drive inverter faults (November, 2,431 vehicles). Tesla also announced the end of Foundation Series production in the fourth quarter.
