1,300/Week Production and June Recalls

Production reached 1,300 units/week; two recalls issued
At the 2024 Annual Stockholder Meeting on June 13, Elon Musk announced that Tesla had reached a production record of 1,300 Cybertrucks per week, with a target of 2,500 per week by year-end. Musk also confirmed that Foundation Series production would end in the fourth quarter as Tesla shifted focus to standard Cybertrucks.
The same month saw two recalls: on June 19, Tesla recalled 11,688 Cybertrucks for a faulty windshield wiper motor controller and 12,150 vehicles for improperly adhered truck bed trim (sail applique) that could detach while driving. Both issues affected vehicles built from November 2023 through May/June 2024.
