First Cybertruck Assembled

Elon Musk announces the first Cybertruck has been assembled
On July 7, 2023, Elon Musk posted a photo on X showing the first Cybertruck assembled at Gigafactory Texas, with the caption “First Cybertruck.” The image showed the angular stainless steel vehicle on the production line, marking a major milestone in the vehicle’s four-year journey from concept to production. This was the first time a complete Cybertruck had been built on the actual production line rather than as a prototype.
The first assembled unit was a pre-production vehicle used for testing and validation before customer deliveries. It represented the culmination of years of development, including the unique stainless steel manufacturing process, the 4680 battery integration, and the specialized tooling at Gigafactory Texas. Following this milestone, Tesla began pilot production to work out manufacturing kinks before ramping to full production.
