2022 Target Pushed Again

Cybertruck production pushed from 2022 to 2023

Tesla pushed the Cybertruck production timeline from 2022 to 2023, marking another delay in the vehicle’s development. The company cited the need for more time to perfect the manufacturing process and ensure the vehicle met quality standards. This was the fourth major timeline revision for the Cybertruck, raising further questions about whether the vehicle would ever reach production.

Despite the delays, Tesla continued to invest in the Cybertruck project, with Gigafactory Texas now operational and ready for future expansion. The company remained confident that the Cybertruck would eventually disrupt the pickup truck market with its unique combination of features. The delays were seen as a reflection of the challenges associated with bringing a radically new vehicle design to market.
