First Customer Deliveries Begin

First Cybertrucks delivered to customers following the November 30 event

Following the November 30 delivery event, Tesla began delivering Cybertrucks to customers in December 2023. The initial deliveries were limited, with the company producing only a small number of vehicles per week as it continued to ramp up production. Early owners reported mixed reactions — praising the vehicle’s performance, unique design, and impressive towing capacity while noting some build quality issues and a sparse interior.

The Cybertruck’s stainless steel body proved both a strength and a challenge. While the exoskeleton was highly durable and resistant to damage, it was also prone to scratching and showed fingerprints easily. The vehicle’s angular design made it one of the most distinctive vehicles on the road, generating significant attention wherever it drove. Tesla continued to work on ramping production throughout December, with the goal of increasing weekly output in early 2024.
