Front parking lights too bright and light bar accessory recall
Tesla issued two recalls in October 2025. On October 15, the company recalled 63,619 Cybertrucks because the front parking lights could be too bright and exceed the maximum light output, adversely affecting the vision of other drivers. This was resolved via a free over-the-air software update.
On October 30, Tesla recalled 6,197 vehicles due to an off-road light bar accessory that could come loose and fall off the truck, creating a road hazard. Tesla offered to inspect the accessory and install additional mechanical attachments or replace the light bar free of charge.
